The Association is a membership organisation made up of those with an interest in Hampshire’s chalkstreams. Our members are river owners, river keepers, and those who simply enjoy the world class fishing or the rivers’ unique environmental heritage. They all care deeply about the future of the chalkstreams.

Anyone can fish on the iconic chalkstreams, River Test and River Itchen. Whether you’re an experienced angler or new to fly fishing, there are fishing guides that can teach you the basics or show you the best spots on the river stretch that you fish. Below is a link to accredited fishing guides and fishing companies that all will offer guiding and lessons with the aim to make your day by the river a fantastic one.
